Ballet in Hollywood Bowl

On July 21st took place the concert of Dudamel and the Paris Opera Ballet in Hollywood Bowl. The concert was really overwhelming. The music was extremely beautiful and the ballet dancers were good. My friend Yelena and I were sitting in the center close to the stage, so we were able to see the ballet clearly.

Today is 2021’s last day, December 31. 
It’s time to start thinking about 2022 and collect all the memories from 2021.

January 1st, 2021.

LA Zoo

The 55 years old Zoo located in LA, California welcomed our family on a beautiful Sunday.

We saw animals that we hadn't seen before. But the most beautiful ones were Flamingos. Their color, their body is so interesting. 

I was searching for Lions, but unfortunately we couldn't find one. Also we couldn’t see any tiger. But instead we saw a lot of monkeys that we saw in the cartoons and movies, such as gorillas, chimpanzees, etc.   

There were also three giraffes, they were so tall. 

I can say we fully enjoyed the LA Zoo's atmosphere.

Differences between USA and Armenia

Nothing is the same in these two countries. 

The differences between these two countries are huge. What people think, do, talk, and how the living system works in the US is different from Armenia. Problems differ, happy moments differ, finances differ. And that’s very normal, natural.

Universal Studios Hollywood

Universal Studios Hollywood is a must visit for every tourist in LA. That’s why for every attraction you have to wait for 1 or 2 hours, unless you are Armenian. Why am I saying that, because every Armenian would find a way to skip that waiting. I did. It was fun doing that in front of a lot of foreign people, but fortunately no one noticed anything. 

Everything in there was so cool, so professionally organized, so real, so interesting. I took a lot of photos. You can see them below. 

Once in Balboa Island

Balboa Island is a harborside community located in Newport Beach, California, accessible to the public via bridge, ferry and several public docks. The community is surrounded by a paved concrete boardwalk open to pedestrian traffic, designated as a public walking trail by the city. 

People also call it man-made treasure. 

I can’t tell much about the island, but believe me, it was worth seeing. I didn’t go deeper to the island, I saw only the “first page”, and liked it. I also thought about having a house there to come and get some rest on the weekends. But there are so many other places to go and explore, and no time to stay at a particular place.

Hollywood Wax Museum

As many of you may know, I love traveling, exploring. I love tourist places, although I am not a tourist here. I loved the Madame Tussauds museum in London, and as I knew there was a wax museum in Hollywood also, I could not miss it. That day came. 

Honestly I was disappointed, because the statues weren’t as realistic as they were in London. 

But anyway, I enjoyed it, it was interesting.

Այսօր՝ ճամբարային երրորդ օրը, ճամբարականների մեր ջոկատով այցելեցինք կենդանաբանական այգի։ Մեզնից շատերը այգում եղել էին շա՜տ վաղուց և չէին տեսել այգու նորությունները։

Զարմանալ նշանակում է խոստովանել

Զարմանալ՝ նշանակում է խոստովանել, որ ինչ-որ բան չես հասկանում, չգիտես։ Իսկ խոստովանել՝ նշանակում է փնտրել հարցի պատասխանը, նշանակում է՝ մտածել։ Այսպես մենք ապրում ենք մեր ողջ կյանքը՝ փնտրելով և մտածելով։ Բնապահպանական փնտրտուքներով, ինչպես նաև ժամանակը զվարճալի և հիշարժան, բայցևայնպես ուսումնական անցկացնելու նպատակներով այցելել էինք մեր մշակութային Գյումրի և Աշոցք՝ դահուկասահքի։

Այսօր՝ հունվարի 29-ին, կայացավ ԵՊՀ Աստվածաբանության ֆակուլտետում «Հրանտ Հակոբյանի» անվամբ լսարանի բացումը։

Կամուրջներն ու քաղաքները

Աշխարհի շատ քաղաքներ հայտնի են իրենց կամուրջներով։ Բրուկլինի կամուրջը՝ Նյու Յորքում, Ռիալտոյի կամուրջը՝ Իտալիայում, Մովսեսի կամուրջը՝ Նիդերլանդներում։ Հայաստանում տուրիստներին ավելի շատ գրավում է Խնձորեսկի կամուրջը, որն ավելի հայտնի է ու հետաքրքիր։ Նշածս կամուրջներն առանձնանում են իրենց յուրօրինակ տեսքով ու նշանակությամբ։

Իմ մշակութային շաբաթը

Սեբաստացի լինելը հեշտ բան չէ. մեզ օրվա ժամերն արդեն չեն հերիքում, առօրյան լցված է բազմազան նախագծերով, հանդիպումներով ու շրջագայություններով:

Կայացավ դեկտեմբերի 12-ին նախատեսված բնապահպանական հանդիպումը։ Քննվեցին ՀՀ կառավարության և պատասխանատու մարմինների կողմից անտեսվող կամ լռեցվող խնդիրները՝ կապված Ամուլսարում ոսկու հանքի հնարավոր շահագործման հետ։
